ITINERARY

POLLENSA - 3 Nights

Pollensa it’s a lovely town with a rich history of artists, plenty of options for dining and some cool shops with local brands and products. It's location is the perfect starting point for the ride to Formentor Ligthouse, one of the classics of the island, as well as Sa Calobra, and Coll de Sa Bataia, a good variety of Spanish and international food restaurants, and many good little corners where to sip a “cafecito” after your morning ride. Good place to get our guests favourite souvenir, a Mallorca-themed cycling jersey.

DAY 1 - To the North. We will meet you at the airport or at your pre-trip hotel and transfer to Santa Maria where we will start riding along the foothills of the Tramuntana and up the gorgeous Orient Valley. We could stop for lunch at Alaro or Selva or if wine is your call, we can also plan a great visit to Can Axartell winery near your hotel, one of the most modern and innovative new wineries on the island.

Ride: 64 km with 890m climbing.

DAY 2 - Lluc Loop. Today we can have a great loop including one of our favorite climbs on the island up Coll de Sa Bataia from Caimari followed by one of the best descent from Coll de Feminia into Pollensa for an easy tapas lunch near the town square, or carry on towards Cala Sant Vincent for lunch by the sea. Ride: 51 to 64 Km with 900-1000m climbing

Mallorca cycling hotel Son Brull.jpg

Son Brull Hotel & Spa - An eighteenth century Jesuit monastery converted into a 5-star luxury boutique hotel, Relais & Châteaux Son Brull is surrounded by magnificent olive, lemon and orange trees, and is situated in Mallorca’s Northern rural countryside at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains where guests can relax in the luxury spa. https://sonbrull.com/en/

DAY 3 - Cap Formentor Lighthouse. One of Mallorca's iconic cycling routes and in the bucket list of many cyclists around the world. With amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea, it's a constant up and down, twists and turns which take to the most Northerly point in Mallorca. An early start is recommended to avoid most of the traffic. After coming back from the Lighthouse, we suggest you take a detour to beautiful Cala Sant Vincent for a great sea food lunch by the sea. 65 Km with 1000m climbing.

DEIA - 2 Nights

A charming stone’s village set in the heart of the World Heritage’s Tramuntana Mountains and with the elegant  Mediterranean sea as background. Deià has always attracted quite an eclectic crew of writers, poets, and artists who since the early 1900s have given the village its artsy fame and bohemian energy. Not much has changed of the gorgeous little streets of the village and the charming setting since then, making it as attractive and idyllic as ever.

DAY 4 - Sa Calobra. It's an epic ride along the Tramuntana including a detour to the world famous Sa Calobra, a must-do for any cyclists coming to Mallorca, and the main reason why Mallorca is so famous in the cycling world, but that's after the beautiful climb from Caimari to Coll de Sa Bataia, and before the great 14 Km descent from the Monnaber Tunnel to Port de Soller. 80 Km with almost 2000m climbing, so we have shuttle options or you could even jump in the ferry in Sa Calobra that takes you to very near your hotel.

DAY 5 - Valldemossa Loop. is a great day to have rest day or at least a day off the saddle so we could plan a good hike along the coast to lovely Deia, maybe plan a short 40 Km ride to go for winery visit for lunch and wine tasting or also plan a water activity like a boat day or kayaking along the coast.

La Residencia Deia Mallorca.jpg

La Residencia in Deià is an award winning luxury hotel and spa resort hewn from local stone, tucked into the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains on Mallorca's north-west coast and just a stone's throw from the clear blue Mediterranean sea.

PALMA DE MALLORCA - 1 Night

The capital of the island and a cool little city to finish the trip off and have a last evening in town wandering around the narrow and charming streets of the old town with its many bars and restaurants, art galleries, boutiques, and the wonderful Palma Cathedral. Also a good idea to have next morning in town so you can pay a visit to the municipal markets and have some fresh seafood direct from the stalls.

DAY 7 -  SW Coast. Today is the cherry on top of the cake, and what we think is the best ride in Mallorca along the SW coast passing the stunning coastal villages of Banyalbufar, Estellencs, and Andratx all the way to Sant Elm for a great lunch at Es Moli, where we could pick you up and drive you back to Palma for a last night in town, a great way to finish the trip, and only a 15 minutes drive to the airport the following morning.

Ride: 57Km with 900m climbing.
